Job Description
Hire Resolve's client is currently seeking an Engineering Safety Officer to join their operation in the mining industry in Limpopo. As an Engineering Safety Officer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and well-being of all employees working in the mining site.

Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement and maintain safety systems, policies, and procedures that comply with legislation and company standards.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Provide safety training and education to employees.
- Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses, and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Collaborate with other departments to drive safety initiatives and promote a culture of safety awareness.
- Stay updated with the latest safety regulations and industry best practices.
Requirements:
- Grade 12
- Engineering Trade Certificate
- Diploma in Safety Management
- COMSOC/SAMTRAC
- 5 years mining or plant experience as a Safety Officer in the Mining Industry.
- Knowledge of ISO9001, ISO14001 and OHSASA 18001, SHE System, Risk assessment.
- Experience in conducting safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments.
- Valid driver's license.
